Mangalore: `O Bai' Konkani Play Staged at Kalaangann

Mangalore, Jan 5:
`O Bai' – a hilarious Konkani play by Kala Chetana, Goa was staged at the Noreen and Ronald Mendonca amphitheatre of Kalaangann on Sunday January 5, as part of its monthly theatre programme.  This is the 85th show in the series of programmes so far held at Kalaangann.

The play was written by Rajdeep Nayak and directed by Pramod Mahadeshwar. Suraj Narvekar happened to be the assistant director of the play while Sujatha Narvekar was the Choreographer.



The team of artistes included Rajdeep Nayak, Prashanth Nayak, Sadanand Velkaskar, Ananthdas Nayak, Ravi Gudimani, Laxmidas Nayak and Suchitha  Narvekar.

While Kemraj Nayak provided background score for the play, Sushanth Nayka and Parashuram Gudimani handled the light effects.  Shubeeda Narvekar took up the responsibility for providing costumes to the artistes.
