Udupi: Terrorists Trying to Create Strong Base in Coast

Udupi, Jan 5: The policemen from Udupi and Shimoga districts, who have been questioning the terror-suspects Tauseef and Firoze who were arrested from Indiranagar here on January 2, have learnt that the terrorists have been trying to convert the Karnataka coast as their strong bastion.

Reportedly, Firoze was more active in terror-related activities. Several people suspected to be active in creating terror in the coast  like Riaz from Bhatkal, are learnt to be making efforts to introduce more and more youth into terrorist activities. The policemen have also gathered that many people including some, who hold high positions in the society, have been extending finance and logical support to such youth.

Shimoga superintendent of police S Murugan and Udupi District Crime Intelligence Bureau inspector Srinivas Raju have been questioning the arrested youth.
