Mangalore: Dr M V Shetty Memorial Cricket Tournament Inaugurated

Mangalore, Jan 3: The 14th Dr M V Shetty Memorial Inter Physiotherapy Colleges Cricket Tournament was inaugurated by Dr Nidarsh D Hegde, Senate Member, RGUHS & Commander of the District Home Guard on Friday, January 2, at NMPT Stadium, Panambur, Mangalore. 

10 boys teams and 6 girls teams of various Physiotherapy Colleges in and around Mangalore & Bangalore are participating in the tournament.



Dr M Ramgopal Shetty, Founder, Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust Colleges presided over the function.  Dr A Pitchaiah, Principal, Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy, Dr Rajesh Kumar, Ex-Senate Member RGUHS, Shashi Prasad & Raj Prasad, Physical Director, Dr U T Ifthikar Ali, Convenor, were present on the occasion.

Prize distribution will be held on 3rd January 2009 at N M P T stadium, Panambur, Mangalore.  Dr Divyanjali Shetty, Trustee, Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust will be distributing the prize.
