Kasargod: DYFI Leader Sattar Murder Case Police Nab Three

Kasargod, Jan 2: Town police arrested three persons on Wednesday December 31, accused of murdering DYFI leader Abdul Sattar (32), a resident of Sonkal, Uppala, near here on Sunday December 21.  

The arrested has been identified as Mohammed Farooq (26), a resident of Uppala and tempo driver, Ibrahim Khalil (21), a resident of Sonkal, Uppala, and Abdul Rauf, a resident of Koodanji, Uppala.  They were produced at the court here that remanded them to judicial custody till Wednesday January 14.

Police sources informed that the interrogations of the accused revealed the role of a few hired killers involved in the gruesome murder of Sattar.  The investigating officers expressed their confidence in nabbing Mohammed Rafiq and Jaleel, the others involved in the crime, in a few days.
