Mangalore: CM Assures Solution to Areca Farmers’ Problems

Mangalore, Jan 2: The union and state government will respond to the problems of areca growers and give a perfect solution to the areca growers, said chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, speaking to the Areca Growers Commission, recently.

Necessary measures will be taken to overcome the loss caused by the expense in production and decrease in quantity, he said.

S R Rangamurty, president, Campco, led the commission.

D B Balakrishna, president, Dakshina Kannada Farmers’ Marketing Association, Kankodi Padmanabha, national secretary, Sahakara Bharati, B K Ramesh, chief, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, and A S Bhat, general manager, Campco, were present on the occasion.
