Bantwal: Brahmakalashotsav at Baddakatte Sri Nityanand Mandir from Jan 6

Bantwal, Jan 1:
The installation ceremony of the Sri Govind Swami idol and a ‘Brahmakalashotsav’ will be held at the renovated Sri Nityanand Bhajan Mandir, Baddakatte, near here, from Tuesday January 6 to Thursday January 8.  The Bhajan Mandir was recently renovated at a cost of Rs 25 lac, said trustee B Yogish Sapalya.
 
Addressing a press conference held at B C Road on Tuesday December 31,  Sapalya said that the Sri Govind Swami idol will be taken in a grand procession on Tuesday as part of the installation ceremony. The idol made of five metals has already arrived from Ganeshpuri in Maharashtra, he added.


 
Free food will be available to all devotees during the Brahmakalashotsav and religious meets and cultural events will be held in the evenings.  Sri Vijayanand Swami of Belgaum Bevinakoppa Math, Sri Gurudevanand Swami of Odiyoor Math, Sri Mohandas Swami of Manila Math, and Sri Hasanmata Swami of Mysore Chamundibetta Yogashram, will grace the occasion.
 
Bhajan Mandir founder president B Manjunath Sapalya, Kamalaksha Shamboor of Kanyady Math, Mumbai entrepreneur K Sadanand Hegde, community leaders Niranjan Suvarna Mumbai, Laxman Kanhangad, Divakar Shetty Kanhangad, and Shashidar Shetty Yermal, will attend the programme.
 
B Sadashiv Bhandary, Gajendra Prabhu, B Dinesh Bhandary, Ramdas Bantwal, Suresh Kulal, an publicity committee convener Mohan K Sriyan, were present at the press conference.
