Udupi: ‘Ayurvision-08’ on at Shirdi Sai Baba Cancer Hospital

The inaugural of the workshop ‘Ayurvision-08’ was held at the Shirdi Sai Baba Cancer Hospital on Monday December 29.
 
The two-day event was organized by the Ayurveda department of KMC on the topic ‘CME in Ayurveda on Recent Advances in Amavata’.
 
Speaking after inaugurating the programme, Dr H S Ballal, pro-chancellor, Manipal University, said that standardization must be brought in into Ayurveda medicine and treatment.
 
Ayurveda is getting popularized in foreign countries, he said.
 
Dr Poornima, dean, KMC, participated as the chief guest. Dr Basavraj, secretary, Ayurvision committee, delivered the keynote address on the occasion.
 
Dr Shakuntala Pai, co-dean, welcomed the gathering. Dr M S Kamath, chairman, Ayurveda department, proposed the vote of thanks.
