Mangalore: Suspicious Boats, Vehicles Sighted at Someshwar Beach

Mangalore, dec 29: Fishermen from Ullal near here said, that they found two boats, a car and a motor bike moving about in a suspicious manner after midnight on Saturday december 27. They also have passed on this information to the local policemen.

Four fishermen had gone to the seashore for fishing at around 12.30 am on Sunday when they saw a big and a small boat arriving at the shore. Within minutes, a car and a motor bike too came on the scene. The vehicles went back as soon as those traveling in them saw that the four fishermen were present there. In a few minutes, the boats too went back.

The matter was brought to the notice of the fishermen leaders and the police department. However, no clue could be gathered, although the policemen and the coast guard officials visited the spot and made enquiries.  The incident gains significance in view of the recent increase in terrorist activities.
