Mangalore, Dec 29: The new block of St Mary’s Composite Pre-university College was inaugurated recently, during a function held on their school grounds.
Karnataka Apostolic Carmel provincial superior Sr Olivia inaugurated the new block and presided over the function.
Milagres parish priest Fr Walter D’Mello blessed the new block. Bangalore Century Group managing director Dayanand Pai was the guest of honour who unveiled the marble plaque.
Sr Shalini, principal, Rathindranath, former president, Parents’ Teachers’ Association, and Devdas Alva, president, Parents’ Teachers’ Association, were present on the dais.
The students presented a colourful cultural bonanza, depicting cultural dances from the northeast, Rajasthan, Kerala, Karnataka, as well as a mixture of eastern and western cultural dances.
