Puttur: ‘Kille Award’ for Yakshagana to be Conferred on Kala Ranga

The Kille awards will be given away in a ceremony to be held at Rajangana of Sri Krishna Math on Sunday January 4 at 4 pm.
 
The event is being organized by N S Kille Foundation, Kedambady, Puttur.
 
Erya Lakshminarayana Alva, president, Bharat Samskruti Foundation, will preside over the function said, Kadamajalu Subhash Rai.
 
The awards are being conferred on achievers for their contributions in the fields of social service and Yakshagana. The academic year award reserved for Yakshagana will be conferred on Yakshagana Kala Ranga, Udupi, he said.
 
Sri Sugunendra Teertha Swami, Paryaya Math, will deliver the benedictory speech on the occasion.
 
Ambatanaya Mudrady, president, Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Udupi district, will deliver the felicitation address. Yakshagana Talamaddale ‘Hanuma Sandana’ , will be staged  after the felicitation programme.
 
Narayana Shabaraya Udupi, Subramanya Shagrittaya Kokkada, Ramachandra Pangannaya Udupi, Ambatanaya Mudrady, Bhaskar Rai Kukkuvalli, Jabbar Sumo Sampaje and Narayana Udupi will be the performers in the Yakshagana.
