Puttur, Dec 25:
A ‘Brahma Kalashotsava’ programme will be held at Kavoor Mahalingeshwara Temple from Saturday January 3 to Friday January 9.
 
Various religious programmes and puja will be performed under the guidance of Brahmashri Kudupu Narasimha Tantri.
 
Sri Vishwesha Teerta Swami will deliver the benedictory speech on Friday January 9 at 6 pm.
 
Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade will preside over the function.
 
Krishna J Palemar, district in-charge minister, N Vinay Hegde, chancellor, Nitte Universty, and Mangalore mayor Ganesh Hosabettu, will participate as the chief guests.
 
Bananje Govindacharya will deliver the religious speech on the occasion.
 
Various religious and cultural programmes are being arranged for the annual celebration of the Mahalingeshwara temple held from Tuesday January 13 to Saturday January 17.
