Mangalore, Dec 25: Geeta Nayak from Bondel in the city lost 30 sovereigns of gold in a bus on Tuesday December 23. Because of the honesty displayed by the staff of that bus, she got her ornaments intact the same day.

Ramesh and Vajrakumar, employees working for Vishal, an express bus moving between the city and Karkala, found a deserted purse in the bus at Suratkal. Actually, Geeta Nayak, presently staying in Mumbai, was going to her son's home in Mukka and had traveled  to Suratkal on this bus. After finding that she had lost her gold ornaments, she filed a complaint with the Suratkal police.

The bus staff not only gave information about finding of the bag to their Karkala office, but also informed the Suratkal police station during the return trip. Inspector Arun Kumar and sub-inspector Ramesh Kumar praised the honesty of the bus employees and returned the ornaments to the true owner.
