Mangalore: MCI Platinum Jubilee at KSHEMA

Mangalore, Dec 24: The K S Hegde Medical Academy(KSHEMA) celebrated the platinum jubilee of the establishment of the Medical Council of India(MCI) at its premises recently with the sponsorship of a national symposium on 'recent advances in teaching methodologies and advances in information technology and internet.'

The symposium was conducted by eminent resource persons drawn from the field of academics. Prof S Samaga from NMAMIT, Nitte, Dr  P P Devan from A J Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr  Latha V Prabhu from KMC, Mangalore shared their expertise on the subject. Dr Neville Fernandez of A J Institute, Mangalore, moderated the proceedings.



Earlier, The dean of KSHEMA, Dr  Arunachalam Kumar welcomed the gathering and Dr Shantaram Shetty, vice chancellor Nitte University presented his introductory remarks and symbolically inaugurated the symposium by lighting a ceremonial lamp.

Dr Rashmi compeered the programme and Dr  Jaiprakash Shetty, registrar, KSHEMA gave a vote of thanks.
