Udupi, Dec 23: Sri Vishwa Prasanna Swamiji, junior pontiff, Pejavar Math, will conduct a ‘Padayatra’ from Wednesday December 24 to Wednesday December 31.
The Swamiji will begin the march from Gomati in Gujarat to Matrugaya. This will be the 18th such Padayatra of the Swamiji.
Various temples between Gomati and Matrugaya are described in Sri Vadiraja Swamiji’s ‘Teertaprabhanda’. The distance covered will be about 220 kms. The journey will start every day in the morning and evening. “Puja’ will be performed at the place of halt in the afternoon and a discourse held in the evening.
The Swamiji conducted a similar Padayatra from Bharuch to Gomati last year, a press release stated.
