Udupi: St Aloysius College Bags First Place in ‘Mega Bytes’

Udupi, Dec 23: St Aloysius College, Mangalore, bagged the first place in the Mangalore University inter-collegiate IT fest ‘Mega Bytes’ organized by the Information Technology (IT) Club of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) College, on Monday December 22.

Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) Business Management College was the runner-up. MGM College principal professor Jayaprakash Mavinakuli presented prizes to the winners.

Softpro Business chief executive officer Raviraj, distributed prizes to winners of essay competitions held for high school students by the IT Club. 

A total of 21 colleges under the varsity from undivided Dakshina Kannada district participated in the IT Fest.

MGM College computer science head of department Vishwanath Pai and Rekha Navinchandra were present on the dais.

Ramya Anchan welcomed the gathering and Blassis H Noronha compered the programme.
