Mangalore: Catholic Forum Seeks Security for Churches During Christmas

Mangalore, Dec 23: A delegation of members of the city-based Catholic Forum, led by Ivan D’Souza submitted a memorandum to IGP A M Prasad and deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao on Monday December 22 evening, seeking protection for Catholic churches on the eve of Christmas. 

Both Prasad and Rao assured the delegation that orders will be issued to each police station across the district to provide adequate security in order to enable peaceful celebration of Christmas. 

J S Noronha, Fr Anil D’Souza, Marcel Monteiro, Anil Lobo, Savil Mascarenhas, Felix D’ Souza, Santhosh Lobo, Leo D’Souza, and Roshan Madtha, were part of the delegation.
