Udupi: Manipal School of Nursing Celebrates Golden Jubilee

The golden jubilee celebration of Manipal School of Nursing was held at Valley View Hotel, Manipal, on Saturday December 20.
 
Speaking on the occasion Dr V S Acharya, state home minister, said that the nursing profession is as important and respected as a doctor’s profession. Manipal School of Nursing has the fame of introducing the first nursing school in the private sector.
 
Indira Ballal presided over the function. Dr Raj P Warrier, vice-chancellor, and Dr G K Prabhu, registrar, were present on the occasion.
 
After releasing the souvenir Dr Acharya felicitated Prof A Padma Rao, and B Balakrishna, lecturers, on the occasion.
 
Dr Ratna Prakash, dean, Manipal School of Nursing, welcomed the gathering. Dr Kasturi Adiga compered the programme.
