Udupi: ‘Sandhya Suraksha’ Certificates Handed Over to Beneficiaries

Udupi, Dec 21:
‘Sandhya Suraksha’ scheme certificates were distributed at Billadi School in Kota on Saturday December 20.
 
Dr V S Acharya, state home minister, handed over the certificates to 255 people above the age of 65 years.
 
Apart from this beneficiaries of Bhagyalakshmi scheme were also given certificates.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Acharya said that mutual understanding between the people and authorities is necessary to avail several governmental schemes.
 
Basic facilities like roads and water will be given priority compared to others, he said.
 
Muralidhar, special tashildar, Bramavar, welcomed the gathering.
 
MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty, B K Hegde and Geeta, members, zilla panchayat, Prasanna Kumar, chief executive officer (CEO), zilla panchayat, K N Ramesh, sub-division officer, and Ramanand Nayak, executive officer, taluk panchayat, were present on the occasion.
