Panaji: Goa Liberation Day Observed with Great Respect

Panaji, Dec 20:  The state observed the 47th Goa Liberation Day on 19th December.  Various programmes were held across the state to mark this auspicious day.



Chief minister Digambar Kamat hoisted the flag on the Campal Parade grounds in Panaji to mark this historic day in the presence of MLA's, bureaucrates, students, Citizens, freedom fighters and the press.

The CM inspected the parade soon after hoisting the flag.

Around 600 students of Bal Bhavan Goa performed the traditional 'Taranga' dance and to add to the programme schools from the capital city came together to display their talent through the 'Hariyali' dance from Rajasthan.
