Udupi, Dec 20: Vishwa Brahmin community has not achieved educational progress which makes the community to break into the mainstream of society, said Sri Kalahastendra Saraswati Swamiji of Anegundi Saraswati Math, here on Friday December 19.

Swami Kalahastendra Swaraswati was gracing the stage programme held on the occasion of his personal visit to community brethren at Kollabettu, in Padoor village, near Kaup, here on Friday December 19. 

Meanwhile, Swamiji also urged the community members to achieve economical, social, educational and political progress. 

Kaup block BJP president Kollabettu Ravindra Shetty, taluk panchayat member Jagdish Achar, social worker Muralidar Pai Katpady and Kaup Kalikamba temple managing trustee Shekar Acharya were present on the occasion.

Akshaya Sharma welcomed the gathering and proposed vote of thanks.

Swami Kalahastendra Saraswati was offered grand welcome on his first visit to Padoor village.  Stage programme was held at Kollabettu Achyut Acharya's residence.
