About Rewabe:

REWABE is one of the most active and oldest Welfare Associations in Bangalore. Established in 1975 as a registered body, it has implemented many useful projects and programmes which have contributed to the welfare of the residents during the last 33 years. It has over 800 members on its roll. It must be mentioned here that Rewabe enjoys excellent rapport and recognition with the civic authorities, namely, BBMP, BESCOM, BWSSB, police, horticulture department etc.

One of the major achievements of Rewabe was to get the kharab lands on High Street from the clutches of land grabbers after a protracted legal battle and handed over the same to BBMP. This place has now become a beautiful park on both sides of the High Street, much to the delight of the residents. Play equipment and proper lighting was provided as a result of effective interaction with the BBMP, BESCOM and ITC.
