Mangaluru, Dec 16: The upcoming Kannada film 'Lungi' produced by Mukhesh Hegde under the banner Khara Entertainment will be released in January 2019.
The film is a romantic comedy and tells the story of a young man who comes of age when he follows his heart. The story focuses on the message of love, beauty and culture and stars debutant actor Pranav Hegde, with beauties Ahalya Suresh and Radhika Rao.
Debutant director Akshith Shetty has written and directed the film which features Prakash Thuminadu, Roopa Vorkady, Deepak Rai Panaje, Karthik, Mime Ramdas, VJ Vineeth and Sandeep Shetty.
Arjun Lewis is handling the screenplay, dialogues and lyrics. Rijjo P John has handled cinematography and Prasad K Shetty has composed the music.
