Mangalore: Graduation Day of Globe College of Travel and Tourism held

Mangalore, Dec 9: Graduation day was organized by Globe College of Travel and Tourism at Hotel Gateway senate hall here, on Saturday December 6.

The programme was presided over by C M Tallur, assistant general manager, SBI.  Chellam Prasad, city manager, Air India Express, was the chief guest on the occasion.  Astrid Rasquinha, principal, Globe College, delivered the keynote address.

The batch of 43 students was awarded convocation certificates. Five students passed with distinction in the foundation-level in both papers and eight in one paper.  From this batch, 98 percent of students have been placed in the tourism industry. 

Globe College student Reshma Sheikh welcomed the gathering. Wasim Akbar proposed the vote of thanks and  Nikita Pinto compered the programme.
