Mangalore: Congress MLA Khader Seeks White Paper on Allocation

The Hindu

Mangalore, Dec 9: U.T. Khader, Congress MLA, has urged the State Government to bring out a White Paper on allocation of funds for various development projects in the State through Public Works Department.

Addressing presspersons here on Monday, Mr. Khader alleged that there was imbalance in the allocation of funds to various constituencies. Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa was allocating more funds to the constituencies represented by Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs in the State, he alleged.

He urged the Minister in-charge of Dakshina Kannada to convene a meeting of MLAs of the district and prevail upon Chief Minister Mr. Yeddyurappa to allocate adequate funds for development activities in the region, at the earliest.
