Bantwal, Dec 8: A night watchman working in a local aluminum factory was found brutally murdered on Sunday December 7.

The deceased has been identified as Tippesh (35), hailing from Hassan district, and was employed at the Sri Krishna Aluminum Factory in Purlippady, near Kalladka.

He had recently joined work at the factory owned by Gopalkrishna Bhat.  Tippesh was also working as a daily labourer during the day.  One of his relative’s had brought over Tippesh’s wife and children to his residence here a few days ago. But following the tragedy, all of them were found to be missing.

Police sources said that this had led to speculation whether Tippesh might have been murdered over a family feud. Bantwal town police sub-inspector Madhav Koodlu and circle inspector Nanjunde Gowda are investigating the case.
