Mangalore: Bunts’ Inter-district Sports Meet on Dec 21

Mangalore, Dec 6: The Bunts’ Association Kavoor, in association with Bunts Maathr Sangh will organize the fourth inter-district sports meet for the Bunts’ community at  Mangala Ground on Sunday December 21.

Addressing media persons at the Press Club on Saturday December 6, Laxman Shetty, honourary president of the association, said that state-level award winning players Shekar Shetty, Sarvotham Shetty, and others will be felicitated on the occasion. MLA Ramanath Rai, B Nagaraj Shetty, president, coastal development authority, and Amarnath Shetty, will be the guests.

Sports aspirants may contact the local Bunts’ Association for entry tickets. Students are requested to submit records attested by the head of their institutions before Saturday December 20. State or national-level athletes may contact the organizers five days prior to the event, to be felicitated at the meet, he said.
