Kundapur: ‘National Awareness Essential among Youth’

Kundapur, Dec 6:
We Indians must have a sense of national belongness. To create this, we need an organized effort to meet leadership qualities, teach us discipline, patience, and perseverance, and to instill in us the need for service before self, said Uppunda Chandrashekhara Holla, former president, Udupi District Karnataka Sahitya Parishad.

He was speaking at the inaugural of the seminar organized under the joint auspices of te department of public instruction, Udupi district, and Bharath Seva Dal, at Kollur, near here. He said that it was essential to create national awareness among the youth of the country.

Ramakrishna Adiga, manager, Sri Mookambika Temple, lit the lamp and gave the welcome speech. Among those present were Raju Poojary, inspector of education, Kundapur range, Mahesh S Pattar, officer, Udupi District Bharath Seva Dal, and B Manjunath Sheregar, state inspector, Bharath Seva Dal. Rajeev Shetty, organizer, Kundapur range, monitored the programme while Nityananda proposed the vote of thanks.
