Mangalore, Dec 6: The Excise police raided a bootlegging den located in the outskirts of city at Kottarikudru, near Kannur on National Highway 48, on Friday December 5. However, two persons who were involved in preparing illicit liquor, managed to flee the place before the police could arrive on the spot.
The police seized 300 liters of brew stored in ix barrels, around 25 liters of freshly-brewed country liquor and arrested two persons in this regard.
The culprits have been identified as Justin Monteiro and Roshan Monteiro, residents of Kottarikudru.
