Mangalore, Dec 5: An inter-collegiate level intellectual competition titled 'Darpan -2008' was organized by Govinda Das Pre-University College Suratkal in the college premises recently.
City-based St Aloysius College won the overall trophy on the occasion.
Speaking after presenting the prizes, M Venkataramana, treasurer, Hindu Vidyadayini Sangh, said that participating in the inter-collegiate competitions boosts the confidence levels of students. This confidence helps them to gain success in the professional field, he opined.
Prof Gopal M Gokhale, Govinda Das Pre-University College, congratulated the winning teams and other participants.
