Udupi, Dec 3: The district-level children’s awards and cash award of Rs 10,000, for academic year 2008–09, will be presented to children who have made significant achievement in arts, studies, cultural activities, and sports, in the age group of 4–15 years. The awards will be presented to the first two winners in each category.
Achievers are advised to attach their birth certificates as well as merit certificates (proof of their talent) along with the applications, stated a press release from the deputy director of the Women and Child Welfare Department.
