Udupi, Dec 1: Artificial limbs were distributed in a programme held recently by LANCO Foundation Artificial Limb Centre, and Belapu gram panchayat, at Sri Durgadevi Higher Primary School, Paniyoor, near here.
K P Acharya, correspondent, Sri Vidhyaniketan Group of Education Institutions, and Deviprasad Shetty, president, Belapu gram panchayat, distributed the artificial limbs to 25 physically handicapped persons.
Intellectual K L Kundantaya, Al-Reha Multipurpose Co-Operative Society president A K Suleiman, Nagarjuna Power officer Sashidar M, block education officer Manjunatayya, physically handicapped welfare officer Niranjan, Dinesh Shetty, school head master Shankar Suvarna, and Yogesh Poojary, were present.
