Udupi: Protestors Demand Prompt Action against School Administration for Mistreating Staff

Udupi, Nov 30:
Residents of  Maski near Kiri Manjeshwara, led by members of certain organizations, laid siege to a private English medium school on Friday November 28 protesting the assault on the head mistress and suspension of five teachers by the school administration.
 
The protesters demanded action against the school administration and sought reinstatement of  the suspended teachers. CK Shasidar, deputy superintendent of police, Kundapur, B Shekar Bindoor, block education officer, Yogish Kumar, sub-inspector, Kollur, Thimmaraju, and Sampath Kumar, held discussions with the demonstrators and assured immediate action.
 
Leaders of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, Karnataka Forum for Dignity, and the Bajrang Dal, led the protest.
