Mangalore: Vision Charitable Trust to be Inaugurated on Nov 30

Mangalore, Nov 30: The inauguration of ‘Vision Charitable Trust’ will be held at Jattipalla in Suratkal, on Sunday November 30 at 10.30 am. Prof Kodi Kushalappa Gowda, retired chairman, Kannada Department, Madras University, will inaugurate the trust.

D S Girish, president, Vision Charitable Trust, will preside over the function.

D V Sadananda Gowda, member of parliament, N A Ramachandra, president, city panchayat, and Subayya Naik, former MLA, will participate in the inaugural.

The trust provides eye treatment, students’ counselling, free training, and self employment training, to the needy. The trust further plans to invest Rs 1 lac to set-up an old age home.
