Mangalore: Cadets Celebrate NCC Day Around Camp Fire

Mangalore, Nov 29: National Cadet Corps (NCC) Day was celebrated on the grounds of Perdoor High School here, recently.

Speaking after inaugurating the programme, Bhaskar, forest officer, said that NCC helps cadets inculcate qualities like bravery, and patriotism. K Gopalakrishna Upadhyaya, founder, Perdoor School, Shantaram Sooda, businessman, and H S Ganesh Bhat, headmaster, were present on the occasion.

Satish Kumar Shetty, NCC officer, Perdoor School, welcomed the gathering. Cadet Swasthik proposed the vote of thanks. Magundayya compered the programme.

A variety of cultural programmes performed by cadets around the camp fire entertained the audience.
