Udupi: Miscreants Pelt Stones at Nejar Jamia Mosque

Udupi, Nov 28: Some miscreants pelted stones at the windows of a mosque located at Nejar, near here, in the wee hours of Friday November 28. 

Unidentified miscreants pelted stones at the Jamia mosque between 2.00 am and 2.30 am on Friday, as reported by a nearby resident who had woken up to care for an ailing child at around 2.00 am. 

Mosque authorities said that the panes of seven windows were damaged, incurring a loss of around Rs 25,000. The mosque was renovated during Ramzan and prayers resumed here from Eid-Ul-Fitr.

    What will they get by pelting stones at the mosque ? Nothing.  These actions by  miscreants will also create tension in society. They must be punished.
