Bantwal, Nov 28: The Vodlem Fest of Holy Family Church, Omzoor, near here, was celebrated on Wednesday November 26 with devotion and fervour. Confraternity Sunday was celebrated here recently,  with the Eucharistic procession through town while vespers was held on Tuesday November 25. 

Fr Victor Machado, rector, St Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu, was the chief celebrant for the festive mass at 10.00 am on Wednesday.  More than 15 deanery priests from nearby parishes partook in the Eucharistic celebration along with parish priest Fr Cyril Pinto. A large number of parishioners joined in the celebrations.

Parish unit of ICYM organized a lucky stall to entertain the parishioners as well as their guests with some sizzling games.  People enjoyed by purchasing sweets, ice creams, religious articles, and other stuff in the ‘santh’, a fair set up on the church grounds.
