Bantwal, Nov 27: The inauguration of the ‘Nature Tourist Spot’ at Sadashiva temple at Narahari Parvat near Panemangalore, was held recently.

R N Shetty, managing trustee, Murudeshwar temple, inaugurated the memorial constructed there in memory of Dr Kallaje Bhaskar Marla, development sculptor, for changing an ordinary temple into an attraction.

P D Shenoy, managing trustee, Sadashiva temple, Narahari Parvata, presided over the function. Chandrahas Shetty Bolantoor, president, Taluk panchayat, Bantwal, participated as the chief guest.

Vasanti Gangadhar, president, Town Municipal, Bantwal, Dr Prashant Marla, medical director, A J Hospital, Dr Atmaranjan Rai, Anantapadmanabha Upadhyaya, M N Kumar, Krishna Naik, Mrinalini C Naik, and Ganesh Shettigar, were present on the occasion.

A Rukmini Pujary, trustee, welcomed the gathering while Ramachandra Rao compered the programme.
