Mangalore: Kinnigoli-based 'Vijaya Kalavidaru' to Perform in Mumbai, Pune

Mangalore, Nov 26: 'Vijaya Kalavidaru' troupe known for staging some well-known plays in and around the city have been invited to stage shows in Mumbai and Pune. Accordingly, the troupe will stage performances at Mumabi and Pune between December 1 and 17.

The troupe will stage 'Lokugu Lokajji' and 'Appe Dane Chappe' directed by Rajesh Kenchanakere and Harish Padubidri's 'Bairas Bhaskare'. All the shows have been reserved, said K Bhuvanabhirama Udupa, honourary president of the troupe speaking at the press conference on Tuesday November 25.

Chetan Rai Puttur, Narendra Kerekadu, Pushparaj Shetty Shimantoor, Raghuram Shetty Beltangady, Chandrahas Shetty Mani, Rajesh Kenchanakere, Harish Padubidri, Umesh Mijar, Satish Kalla Mundkoor, Sudhakar Salian Sankalakariya, Harish Kadamdale, Lakshman Ganjimath, Lavanya Shetty, Rekha Kenchanakere, Hemalata Bajpe and other artistes will perform under the guidance of Sharat Shetty he said.

Apart from them, Prakash M Hegde, convener, Elinje Lakshman A B, Nagesh S Kodi and Jayaram Shetty Saletoor and others will also accompany the troupe.

Sharat Shetty Kinnigoli, Rajesh Kenchanakere and Lakshman V B were present at the press conference.
