Kundapur: Hoax Bomb Call - Thorough Check at Kollur Temple

Udupi, Nov 24: The police checked the premises of Sri Mookambika temple at Kollur in Udupi district following a hoax bomb call on Sunday evening. However, nothing was found there.

Superintendent of Police Pravin Pawar told The Hindu that the Mangalore Control Room had received a call that a bomb had been placed in the Sri Mookambika temple. Consequently, the police undertook a thorough checking of the temple in Kollur and nothing had been found. A sniffer dog squad would be pressed into service at the temple premises soon, he said.
