Bangalore: Minister Asks Journalists to be Obedient

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore Nov 23: Agricultural minister S A Ravindranath during the secretariat rounds on Friday November 21, lost his cool when grilled by the journalists, and asked them to stop raising unwarranted questions and just write down what he was saying.

Incidentally, most of the questions raised by the scribes were met with a defiant  "I do not know," answer from the minister.

He was asked about the lackadaisical performance of his department and the impact the shortage of electricity will have on the agricultural sector in the state. "Do not ask me unnecessary questions. Write down what I utter. I am an expert in the agricultural  field," he reportedly told them.

When his attention was drawn to the chief minister's(CM) comments over the poor performance of the department of agriculture, he said he did not know what the CM had said. "He is the boss and he can say anything he wants," he retorted. The minister also made an early exit, presumably to avoid a barrage of questions from the media.
