Mangalore, Nov 22: The Yenepoya Cardiac Centre, equipped with modern machineries, was inaugurated on the morning of Saturday November 22 by the state medial education minister Ramachandra Gowda. The upgraded facility has become functional at the Yenepoya Special Hospital located in Kodialbail in the city.
MLA N Yogish Bhat, city mayor Ganesh Hosabettu, former minister M C Nanaiah and senior city cardiologist Dr A V Shetty were the chief guests of the inaugural function.
Yenepoya Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Pvt Ltd.,chairman Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi presided.
With the opening of the unit equipped with latest machineries, the hospital now offers end-to-end solutions for all cardio-vascular diseases with facilities like Tread Mill, Echocardiography, Flat Panel Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Surgical Facilities, Coronary Care Unit etc.,
