Mangalore, Nov 20: The third CD by V V Santos will be released at Kalangan amphitheater of Mandd Sobhann on Sunday December 7. The CD has 12 songs including ‘Ami Manglurgar’, ‘Parjallo Navo Suryo’, ‘Jamoriya’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Thum Swarabari’, ‘Naach Baile Naach’, ‘Vees Vasancha Yuvajananchi Bogna’.
Santos, whose musical talent was nurtured by his mother and later mentored by Konkani Kogul Wilfy Rebimbus, staged his first musical concert when he was just 18 years old. Since then, he has given nine music concerts, released two audio cassettes, and two CDs with hit songs like ‘Muje Kajar’, ‘Mogachey Milan’, ‘Riyana’, and ‘Fulabai ani Gadai’, which are popular among Konkani buffs.
Top musicians Rony Crasta, Prakash D’Souza, Rakesh Mahadevan, Arun Danti, Adolf, Zeena Almeida, Ivy D’Souza, Sapna, and Angeline Dantis are the other singers accompanying Santos. Santos anticipates the support of Konkani music-buffs to help popularize his CD.
