Mangalore, Nov 20:  Indian Medical Association,  Dakshina Kannada branch held an installation  ceremony  of the newly elected office-bearers  at Dr A V Rao auditorium here recently.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr H S Ballal, pro chancellor, Manipal University said, that the relationship between the doctors and their patients should be based on mututl trust and affection and never on business interests.. The service backed by confidence, generosity and honesty will help the medical professionals to  gain professional success, he opined.

Dr Ambarish, president and Dr Ranjan, secretary took  charge of  their new assignments.

Dr Devdas Rai was felicitated on the occasion.

Dr Ballal released  'Medilore,' the home magazine ofthe Aassociation.

Dr Manjunat Shenoy, out-going  secretary presented  the annual  report. Dr Ranjan proposed vote of thanks.
