Mangalore, Nov 19: An anonymous phone call to the Infosys suburban office located near Mudipu, at 12.15 pm on Wednesday November 19, claiming that a bomb had been planted in the company’s city office, was declared a hoax by Urwa police.

The police searched the Infosys office with a bomb disposal squad and checked each and every nook and corner of the office complex after asking the staff to leave the premises during that time.

The same bomb disposal squad also searched the Infosys suburban office near Mudipu without taking chances and detected no explosive substance.  The Infosys staff in both locations, and the police heaved a sigh of relief at this.
