Mangalore: Contributors to be Felicitated at Byari Kala Sangama

Mangalore, Nov 19: The 'Byari Souharda and Kala Sangama' being  organized by Sania Media will be held at the  Town Hall here on Thursday November 20 at 4.30 pm.

The muhurat for the Byari video 'Sandola' and release of the historical book in Byari language titled, 'Mysore Pili Tippu' will be held on the occasion, said P Ismail Moodshedde, director, Sania Media, speaking at a  press conference held here on Tuesday November 18.

Various achievers  in the field of social service, literature, organizational matters, journalism, music and others will be felicitated at the programme, as a mark of honour to them  for making  considerable contribution to Byari language, he explained.

 'Byari Gana Sudha' musical concert will be held by  famous singers of the district. The 'Byari Kala Sangama' programme will also provide  entertainment to  the audience through  humour, comedy and mimicry by various artistes. MLA U T Khadar, B Nagaraj Shetty, president, Coastal Development Authority, Ramanat Rai, MLA and former minister, Krishna J Palemar, district-in-charge minister and others will participate in the programme, he added.

Abdul Khadar and Rajesh Amin Mulky were present at the press conference.
