Mangalore: Employment Mela for Providing Employment Opportunities

Mangalore, Nov 19: An Employment Mela will be held at the Kadri Polytechnic here on Sunday November 23 at 10 am.

The Mela will be conducted by the Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) of the newly introduced 'Arogya Kavacha' scheme of the state government. The Mela will be held for the posts of medical technicians and ambulance drivers.

Giving this information on Tuesday November 18, Hemachandra of the EMRI said that diploma in nursing/ PCB or CBZ or the candidate who has passed PUC with PCMB combination can apply for the posts of medical technicians, while the candidates with the light motor vehicle (LMV) licence with five years experience, and have passed SSLC examination, may apply for the posts of drivers.

Many candidates are required for the posts of the emergency medical technicians and the candidates will be appointed on permanent basis. Candidates should take part in the Mela with required documents and photographs, he said.

Dr Jagannath, district health officer, was present at the press conference.
