Karkala: Student Dies After Falling Off Autorickshaw

Moodbidri, Nov 19: A school student died after he fell from an autorickshaw that was transporting him and other students from Punjalkatte to the school in Jainpete, on Tuesday November 18.

The deceased has been identified as thirteen-year-old Nizamuddin, a student of class seven, of D J School. The auto driver was found transporting 16 students, in gross violation of traffic rules. Nizamuddin was seated besides the driver and fell-off when the autorickshaw was in motion. 

Police sources said that it was the negligence and rash driving of the auto driver that led to the unfortunate incident. Town police sub-inspector Bharati rushed to the spot and arrested the driver.

    This is realy a sad news.The auto driver is not only responsible,even parents also think about thier childs care.R.T.O should restrict.
