Mangalore, Nov 15: Ninth sports day celebrations of Lourdes Central School, was held at Mangala stadium, here on Friday November 14.
Catholic Board of Education secretary Fr Wilson Vitus D'Souza was the chief guest while World Health Organization (SEARO) regional advisor Dr Derek Lobo and Facilitator Teacher Foundation trustee Patsy Lobo were the guests of honour of the occasion.
The valedictory ceremony was held at 4 p m on Friday with Panambur DySP Jayant Shetty as chief guest and St Theresa's School principal Sr Rose Margaret B S as guest of honour.
Fr J P Tauro, manager of the school presided. Principal Grace Noronha was present on the dais.
Winners of various sports and games events were presented with prizes on the same occasion.
