Udupi: Sri Vidhyaniketan Group Celebrates Children’s Day Uniquely

Children’s day was celebrated in a unique way at Sri Vidhyaniketan group of education institutes, Kaup, near here, on Friday November 14.
 


Suraksha Bhat, child artiste and Rajyotsava award winner, was felicitated and the teachers staged dances, songs, a skit, and other variety programmes to enthrall the students.
 
Nityanand Padre, sub-editor, Udyavani, after felicitating Suraksha Bhat, said that children are the future citizens of our country and the responsibility of making them worthy citizens, lies with society and teachers.
 
K T Acharya, chairman, Sri Vidhyaniketan group, presided. Mohammed Sharif, principal, Sri Vidhjyaniketan Pre-University College, V K Udyavar, lecturer, Prof Keremar Kandayya, Prakhyatm student leader, Gopalakrishna Rao, administrator, and Vidhyadar Puranik, were among those present on the occasion.
