Mangalore: Seminar on Child Rights held at Roshni Nilaya

Mangalore, Nov 14:
A seminar on ‘A Sensitization Programme on Child Rights’, organized by Childline, Roshni Nilaya, in association with Dakshina Kannada district police was held at SSW Auditorium, Roshni Nilaya, on Friday November 14.

A M Prasad, inspector general of police, inaugurated the seminar. In his inaugural address he briefed about Childline-1098: Mangalore, a 24-hour free phone emergency service for children in need of care and protection.
 
Sateesh Kumar, superintendent of police, Dr Jacinta D’Souza, director, Childline Nodal Agency, R Dilip, assistant superintendent of police, and Mahendra, were present on the occasion.
